Cope 2 is presenting a solo exhibition during Art Basel at the Wynwood Art district. The opening reception will be held December 1st 2011 and the show runs until the 4th.
Here’s a little Q&A we cooked up with the man.

Yeah it’s so true cause today graffiti writers all they do is shit talk and hate on the next man it’s so sad and outrageous there all 2-face mofos they shake your hand act like there giving you love then they shit talk about you behind your back. Subways should make the new shit sandwich for hating ass graffiti writers and make it a meal!!!

Cause I’m so done with this whole painting productions with a bunch of oppurtunist ass writers. Graffiti’s just too much bullshit and fakeness today.
I really don’t believe the shit talking and hating I see and hear its just really sad I’d rather stay in my studio make some amazing paintings and stay away from the fakeness.

Yeah I was watching a documentary about this couple that were huge art collectors… the Vogels. It was really inspiring they collected art from great artists for years and had it stacked to the top in there apartment… really crazy.

You’re in line waiting to go through the metal machines it’s such a slow long line as it is and all I hear is punk ass shit talking people talking mad shit about their case and what they’re here for what they did like they’re killers!! Who gives a flying fuck!!! I hate court as it is… I dont wanna hear your shit, please!!!

Yeah you know I had to make some limited edition 30 prints for the show. People love prints they’re good to have for the collectors.

Yeah I’ve been really trying to eat healthy and put in some workout time to be healthy thank god my Dr said I’m good… just need to drop some lbs and I’ll be a new mané

I’m just on my grind working with some great galleries for some up coming shows for 2012 and 2013. You have to work hard and push yourself nobody is going to give it to you no matter how old school you are or how many times you paint walls. If you really want to hit the artworld and galleries you have to go for it.
