Nous sommes fiers d’annoncer qu’en collaboration avec le festival ICON MTL , Yves Laroche Galerie d’Art organise une vente aux enchères silencieuses dont les profits iront à Dans la rue. Les oeuvres mises aux enchères seront dévoilées ce jeudi 20 septembre.

SERAK x ILL BILL : Serak est un artiste Montréalais émergent au sens où son parcours en galerie en est à ses débuts. Cependant, ceux fans ou familiers avec l’art de rue montréalais croisent et connaissent sa griffe depuis une dizaine d’années. Il réalisera le portrait du rappeur Ill Bill. À voir! La prestation d’Ill Bill dans le cadre d’Icon MTL aura lieu le 20 septembre 2012, au Belmont (4483, Boulevard Saint-Laurent).

OMEN x STICKY FINGAZ : La deuxième œuvre de l’encan est réalisée par Omen, un artiste internationalement reconnu pour son exploration de l’équilibre entre le graffiti et les beaux arts.  Dans sa contribution à ces enchères, Omen a accepté de peindre un portrait du rappeur Sticky Fingaz. Sticky est l’un des trois membres du groupe hip-hop Onyx, qui sera en prestation à l’occasion de la deuxième et dernière soirée d’Icon MTL : le 21 septembre.

Les enchères auront lieu jusqu’au 2 octobre 2012.

We are proud to announce: In collaboration with Icon MTL 2012 Music Festival, the Yves Laroche Galerie d’Art is hosting a silent auction with proceeds going to the local non-profit organization, Dans la rue. Up for bid are two pieces by contemporary graffiti artists:

SERAK x ILL BILL : One of the renowned artists represented by the Yves Laroche Galerie d’Art, Serack, has painted the first piece of art: a portrait of rapper Ill Bill.  On the opening night of ICON MTL (September 20^th), Ill Bill will perform a headlining act at Le Belmont, 4483 Boulevard Saint-Laurent.

OMEN x STICKY FINGAZ : The second piece in the auction is by Omen, an internationally recognized artist who consistently explores the balance between graffiti and fine art. In his contribution to this silent auction, Omen has painted a portrait of rapper Sticky Fingaz. Sticky comprises one third of the hip-hop ensemble, Onyx, which is the headlining act of Icon MTL’s second and closing night on September 21st.

Bidding will take place until Tuesday, October 2nd 2012.
